Live Forever or Die Trying

This past Sunday I was at a bridal shower for a friend of me and Dean’s and I broke my foot! A bug had flew in the door and I jumped to catch it and upon landing, my right ankle turned inwards with a pop and I collapsed. Wow what a blinding flash of pain!

After 2 days, I was able to get into a doc, got x-rays, and then promptly sent to an orthopedic surgeon for the care of my foot. I broke off a piece of bone next to my ankle (see my X-rays below), and the doc wanted to put me in a cast but I begged him for a boot instead. He gave me a boot on the condition that I stay off of it and come in once a week for an X-ray to make sure it is healing.

If I am a bad girl, then I have to get a cast =( So I am hold up in the media room only allowed to crutch to and from the bathroom and a ton of food and a cooler full of drinks (thanks to Dean) until further notice.

Speaking of crutches….THEY SUCK!!!!! Any pointers would be much appreciated. Oh and thanks to Terminal Reality’s awesome Diana for lending me the crutches.

So I am stuck on the couch all day perusing the interwebs and doing a lot of Sara’s Secret work from home, so drop me a line or give me a call so I don’t go too stir crazy =)
