Dean and I went to Lowes to get replacement CFL bulbs for all of our standard light fixtures to save some money on our electric bill and we found an AMAZING deal on them there! We got two cases of 12 CFL bulbs for $14 a case! I was fully expecting to pay the average $5 per CFL, and we paid a little over a buck each for them. If you are interested in getting some yourself to save the environment and your electric bill, they are Sylvania 60 watt replacement CFL warm white in the “case value pack”.
Thought I would pass along the good deal =)

Groovy. We’ve replaced the bulbs in most of the lights we use a lot, and the prices have definitely gone down. I found you can even get them in the big round bulbs that go in the light fixture over our bathroom sink, where the bulbs are exposed on a plain mounting. They take a couple of minutes to warm up to full brightness when you turn them on, but that’s actually an added benefit when you go in there first thing in the morning or during the night. I hafta turn on the light to pee at night lest there be a snake in the potty or a creepy bug on the seat, you know. There never is, but it’s like that aligator that lives under my bed, making it impossible for me to sleep with a hand or foot hanging over the side.
