Since I spilled the beans, here are the pics of the model that we chose. The pictures are in order of how one would see it on a tour.

Looks nice — I like that loft space — could have many neat uses. What town is it in - Lewisville?
Sorry to hear about Mittens. One hopes that it happened fast and he didn’t know what hit him.

What are your plans for that 3rd level bonus room?

The bonus room is going to be our media room. That’s where we’ll watch TV, movies, play video games, etc. It’s pitch black up there even in the middle of the day when you turn all the lights out, so it’s perfect for that purpose. I’d like to “furnish” it with beanbag chairs.
Bedroom 2 on the second floor is going to be our office (desks, computers, filing cabinet, etc.), and Bedroom 3 is going to be a guest room (it’ll probably be decorated with Holli in mind).
The loft will be like a reading room/library type of thing probably. A chaise lounge and a bookshelf, maybe a little end table.

Photos of the model looks like it must be an end unit — extra windows in the living room. Do you know if yours will be an end unit or in the middle?

Yes it will be an end unit! That was my one must have for this community since ONLY the end units (and only end units at the end of the row) get a yard. There were only about a dozen units that get that. There are side windows in the living/dining and the one on the right will be a door to out yard. The yard will probably be about 20×60 feet or so.
We got the BEST lot in the community. Not only is it twice the size of the others, but it is right next to the pool which means plenty of parking for our house warming party!
Y’all all know that we have looked at hundreds of floor plans and been to EVERY community in a 20 mile radius, so I think that we will be very happy with our choice.
Another cool feature is that the community is on top of a very high hill, and since we have not only an end unit, but our house will be the last row, so we get a great view of the sky line!
As the house gets built, we will post pictures. I am sure I will be up there every week after they break ground to watch the progress.

Looks like one of the small bedrooms has a window seat — how cozy! Another thing I like about the floor plan is that the master suite closets DON’T open off the bathroom. I always think it would be yucky to have bathroom moisture and fumes getting into your closets!

Congratulations guys! Looks like a cool floorplan with LOTS of room for you.
