Three cheers for Kaston ... you did a great job honey ... and welcome to the wild and wooly northland. You were fortunate not to have to drive through any white-outs (that's when blowing snow doesn't allow you to see past your windshield), they are the worst and most dangerous part of winter driving.
The whole day sure must have been a great learning experience.

Good for you Kaston

I have to start out and say thanks for reading that very long post!

Keeping it together during that time showed me how strong I was. Yes I had a few minuets of release in the office, but if I had not, I think that I would have lost it out front where it mattered.

I have to say I am glad it happened, because my one fear was knowing what I could handle, and now I know.

I am much tougher than I thought and damn proud of myself!

Good grief! Very well told story, Kas. Compared with this, running a BWW in your neighborhood should be a breeze. Lesson for head office: Close when it's like Antarctica outside.

I always figured the only thing I coulda done harder that grocery business was restaurant. What a day - and the upcoming schedule's no picnic either. I'm glad you were able to survive a worst case scenario - from here on you can handle anything. wade
