Kingdom Hearts 2

I just picked up Kingdom Hearts 2 on Wednesday (the day it was released - I had it preordered and fully prepaid using my Gamestop gift cards from Christmas). So far I’ve played 5 or 6 hours, and it is absolutely *amazing*. I wanted to play it at lunch today too, but with just how amazing the story is, I don’t want Kaston to miss any of it!

So yeah… World of Warcraft is going on the shelf for a while. I’ve heard estimates of 100 hours of gameplay in Kingdom Hearts 2, and I fully intend to play it twice.

First Anniversary!

Yesterday was Kaston’s and my first wedding anniversary (and our 4-year anniversary of being toghether)! Yay! :)

I got the day off of work (since I had worked on the weekend) and with Kaston at school I spent it cleaning up the house and going shopping for Kaston’s gift (a pink saphire butterfly necklace - I’ll try and get a picture of it up soon). I also made reservations for an early dinner at [Simply Fondue](http://www.simplyfondue.com/), which was *fantastic*. After dinner we went and walked dinner off at the mall. Then we headed home and played WoW (Kaston’s idea, not mine! - her guild was doing a raid and she didn’t want to miss it).

It seems like Kaston and I have been together a lot longer than we have. I guess I’ve just blocked out the parts of my life before we were together, because I hardly have a memory that doesn’t involve her now. I think that you really know you are in love when “we” comes to your lips so much more easily than “I”.

Long Time No Post

Yeah, I need to get into the habit of posting on this thing again. Forcing myself to generate coherant thoughts is probably a good thing. :)

Work has been crazy this last couple of weeks - even to the point of missing our trip down to College Station for (my niece) Holli’s birthday party. We had this huge press event called Gamer’s Day that we had to get the game ready for, so I was up here on the weekend and stayed pretty late on several weeknights. The result of all of our hard work? The press got their hands on the game for the first time, so we have the first real “Previews” out on sites like [IGN](http://ps2.ign.com/articles/692/692774p1.html) and [Gamespot](http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/driving/spyhunter3/news.html?sid=6145238&mode=previews).

I’ve got more to write about - I’ll get around to it later this afternoon.
